I use it on Rage Winterchill, he has a frost bolt that hits for 4250-5750 damage and then 2500 damage per second for 4 seconds. Intensive to say the least but with target of target spam and the fact that Rage targets the person a half second ahead of cast you can heal the guy before you even know you're healing the guy.

It made the fight easier and I liked. I then decided to use it in random aggro fights like Aran or his big sister Solarian. I topped meters doing nothing more than pressing 1 button the entire fight.

Today I really fell in love with it.

10+ t6/s3 equipped horde walked into IF today and started roughing people up. Including perhaps the most feared Tauren Warrior on the server. Now healing through such a big brawl with no raid ui suuuuuuuuuuuuucks. So I just targeted the big bad War and started spamming target of target. It was perhaps the most amusing thing in the world. I could see him starting to get desperate and finally I could see him cycling through people trying to lose the healer only to find me on him every single step of the way. Completely neutered his dps and with the warrior out of the fight things got a little more enjoyable and we started corpse camping some horde.

/cast [help] Flash of Light; [target=targettarget] Flash of Light

target a mob (not a friendly or npc) and start spamming this macro. You will now always heal the person the mob is currently targeting. Very strong tool for random aggro fights like Aran/Solarian where they bounce around.

Or as mentioned sticking on a warrior's target when you have no UI and too many people moving around to make clicking viable.

I know your a fan of Clique or whatever but I am pleased with my heal mouse over macros. I use it in shade the same way you mentioned. I just mouse over where my Target of target bar is, than spam heals when needed =D

Grid is nice because it is a very compact raid ui, which shows health, status effects, aggro and inc heals as well as range in a very simple effective way.

Clique is a separate UI which allows me to assign click to cast commands. Which I can use in conjunction with Grid. Right click a square on grid and voila fol rank 7, left click my mouse and HL rank 9, alt left click and you have a cleanse, alt right click is a bop etc.

All in a square that takes up less space than my 18 slot bag.

The beauty of the target of target macro in certain encounters is that it saves you have 0.5 seconds that literally is life or death for the guy taking random damage, say like on cougar phase of Zul'jin. Very situational but awesome.

For 10 mans my pitbull has been great. I am thinking about grid for later on. It displays basically the same information, I think I would probably like it.
