I hit 69 with my priest, and have always been shadow-specced, I think its great fun. However, my brother is excited for me to get a shiney new 70 to heal in his arena 3v3, and discipline looks like a blast.
So I'm gonna respec. I have tailoring up around 355 and was going to make the shadoweave set, but now I don't know what to do. My question is, would it be worth it to get the Primal Mooncloth for the heals at the expense of stamina? Or should i stick with the Frozen Shadoweave set for the self heals and stamina? Hopefully whichever I chose should be replaced by propper pvp gear, I'm just looking for somthing to get me started with the @ss kicking.
Also, perhaps there is a better cafted items than the two I mentioned, please feel free to enlighten me!

The crafted sets are really for raiding not for PvP. You're better off collecting blues and greens with as much stamina as possible until you start to gather your arena gear.

As said above, primal mooncloth isnt really that impressive arenas.

As a priest (healer at all) you will be often first target in Arenas. So you need to survive more then to be able to toss out big heals.

Go grind some honor and start collecting PvP gear and PvE gear, thats really all about it when you hit 70.

There is some good news for you though. By the time you get to 70 and aquire some basic gear the patch will be out, at which point you can buy basic blue-quality pvp items from the rep vendors in outland. Should give you a nice head start.

U can use the imbued netherweave and the normal netherweave set (preferably 2 pieces of netherweave as that set bonus is quite kick *** :b) to ***** bgs, those pieces have very nice stam..

But for arena it won't cut it

you can purchase 5 pieces of pvp tier .5 gear for just around 100g and it has resilience which is good for starting out.
