I just tamed a durotar tiger, and whenever i send it to attack an enemy, it gradually slows down while running after it, until eventually it is only walking towards them. Why is this? I had a hunter a while back and my pet never did anything like this...

Happens to me too from time to time. It's a pathing bug, and I hope Blizz are working on it.

yeah my new ghost saber does this almost every time I send it to attack. It bugs me but it isn't really that important as when you get dash they get up there and in the fight quick.

I have that problem too. It seems to occur most frequently when my pet has to cross rough ground. That supports the poor pathing idea. Its most obvious on my cat. I see it on my bird and boar also.

I think reason its more obvious on the cats is due to the Prowl animation. It is obvious the pet is sneaking so to say and that is how these pets apear when this happens.

Our pet pathing has always been broken... and for the 2.4 patch the only thing they do is make mend pet dispell crap easier. Bah.
