You're gear isn't terrible per se, but your spec and gem selection needs a serious overhaul. _Any_ red slot needs to have a Glinting Noble Topaz(4hit, 4agi), yellow needs Rigid Dawnstone(8 hit), and blue needs shifting nightseye(4agi, 6stam). Never gem for Parry...ever, even in your PvP gear.

Mace + Dagger spec = fail. The only dual weapon spec that works decently is a Sword+Fist spec. Get the same type of weapons, and respec accordingly. Once you can attain about 175 hit rating, I'd say you'd be ok for Kara, but still lacking some gear for ZA

The gear check for lower ZA (first 4 bosses) is upper tower gear. The gear check for Malakrass/Zul'Jin is more along the lines of T5 quality gear. And the gear check for a bear mount is T6 on a fully flasked run.

I disagree with this. We cleared ZA with only Kara/badge loot. As we've gotten into SSC/TK, we've gotten to the 3rd boss timed event, but unable to down him as of yet.

A bear mount run is completely doable as long as you have smart, efficient players that have t5/badge gear.

You sir, know some pro people then. Hats off to you for getting zul'jin down in T4/badge gear, that is not an easy fight.

Zul'jin is a cakewalk compared to Hex Lord.
