I see lots of people post about arena specs, but I'm a BG enthusiast. That being said, which is more effective and why?
A couple of further questions I had.
1.) Vampiric Embrace: Only heals your raid group even if there are people outside of it around you when you use it? Same applies for Holy Nova/Prayer of Healing/Vampiric Touch.
2.) Shadow Word: Death talents. Yay or nay?
3.) Sacrificial lamb Psychic Screams. Am I the only one who does this? (Sometimes, if I'm with a small group of people, and we come upon another group that seems as though they'll have the edge on us, I'll spend my mana healing, then when I hit about 500, I'll bubble up, run into their group and scream to spread them out, in hopes that my team manages to pick off one or two in the time the others are feared.)
Just curious, since I don't really care that much about Arena.

As far as i read you are a shadow priest.
1.) Those effects only heal group members which have to be in certain range, yes. Everything else would be quite overpowerd.
2.) Correct me, but there are no Shadowword:Death talents. If you mean improved SWP talents, then its a "yay" from me. An extra tic of a powerful dot.
3.) Didnt quite undestand your question but if you were refering to a PvP specc, than improved Psychic Scream is pretty much required, as its essential to get Silence. A good timed silence is often the edge for winning in 1v1 situations.

Requires 30 points in shadow talents.
Increases the critical chance of your Mind Blast and Shadow Word: Death spells by 3%. (For a total of 15% critical.)
I have no idea what to think of this, since I haven't even gotten to Shadow Word: Death yet. I'm still 57. I just like to plan ahead.

1) Yes, only you and the 4 other people in your group. Still worth using, though.
2) SWD talents = Mind Blast talents. Definitely get Shadow Power if you're only BG'ing, though in arena people are running around with enough resilience that it's generally not worth it.
