Farming hpreist, any ideas for G generation?Follow

#1 Feb 14 2008 at 11:49 PM Rating: Decent

So in order to be able to pay those nice Gear bills, pots and a stead which will make the neighboors jealous, u need G.

So for us others mortals who doesnt happen to have available a farming Hunter toon and a fancy DPS suit how would you proceed to get most g on less possible time.

You are provided following restrictions:

Cannot farm and sell herbs.
Cannot farm and sell Minerals.
Quests are getting scares
Holy spec. so basically all farming outside elwynn forest is hazardous.

Up until now I am doing basically dailies, but do u have an area to recommend
where for example thrash loot drops good stuff which will fetch a nice price from the traders?

Also as a transmutation master trying to get the Transmute earth---> water primal, Damn fungus people are hard to flirt though.....

I just do the dailies but I have a hunter farming toon so I do the dailies more for rep than money. If you are xmute spec you should be able to make some nice cash doing that on the side.

Disenchanting.

My main is a holy priest and I specifically wanted to take advantage of Alchemy and Tayloring on him, So I put disenchanting on a level 40 alt. Soon he was making more money than my main.

You can put enchanting on your main, or a level 35 character can train enchanting high enough (275) to de level 70 blues. Learn to de using auctioneer with enchantrix. It's the "you don't have to kill anything" method of making a lot of cash. Add it to your dailies.

And a holy priest is not a bad farmer. Just get the good talents to help you. Get Spirit Tap for mana, get Surge of Light, Searing Light etc to improve your smite. Get Improved Divine Spirit for even more damage. That is a spec that can and will let you farm, and be a good healer. I've had it while rampaging Karazahn and Gruul. Beyond that, you'll have to get to a more appropriate talent build, but then you'll also have the improved gear to support the change.

I still have all of those, except spirit tap, and i do very fine in SSC/TK (except you can't have spirit and CoH)

FYI: i have over 800 +spell damage, and i do just fine. 1,3k smites, 2k holy fire crits etc.

Just an idle idea(me in a nutshell) - get yourself a meatshield. I.e find someone who would appreciate a healer and have them help in daily's and quests.

Play the AH with Jewelcrafting.

Buy stacks of Fel Iron Ore, Prospect them and sell gems for much much more for a more-than-marginal profit.

I leveled Enchanting on a mule and just disenchanted every green I ever got.

Worked well enough. Easily made back more than I invested.

I took up gathering professions (Mining and Skinning.) on my Priest since I won't have any ill feelings towards dropping them when I hit 70 to do Tailoring and Engineering.

try playing the market if your looking for some steady cash flow. Its boring and you sit in town most of the time.. but you can easily pull in 600g a day with some smart purchases.

For example. You see item A in auction house selling for 20gold you know its normal price is 50 gold. you buy and resell said item for a 30 gold profit.

When you get very good at this you can easily buy pretty much anything you want.
