i've been looking at my guild's top raid dpser (a combat swords rogue) in part of an effort to improve my raid dps. in his last TK run, i observed a rough average of 2/3 of total damage output coming from melee strikes, and i was just wondering how much of a dw fury warrior's dps comes from melee strikes and how much comes from using abilities.
so, if anyone could post their latest WWS (preferably in a melee friendly fight like void reaver), that would be great, thanks
edit: i finally got a decent look at some void reaver WWS after my connections at work and home stabilized a bit, and answered my own question. it seems that fury warriors typically do about 40% of total damage from melee, 20-25% from HS, 15-20% from BT, and about 10% each from WW and execute. this is from warriors in guilds that at first glance seem to be farming T5 content and have progressed into hyjal and/or BT.
