Hey, it DOES look cute! Get the form, go to any water body you can find, and strafe left and right quickly. Take a look. =D

Almost nothing else in the game travels at more than 100% in water. This includes players, and it includes players chasing you.

Water form is awesome.

It does look cute. In a horrible, twisted sort of way.

Anyway, it's not only great for getting away or travelling. It's good for fighting underwater. When kitty runs out of air, shift to ugly-seal-form and let your bar go all the way up, then shift back to cat and keep going.

The quest isn't really too difficult or time-consuming to warrant not getting it. And, you are going to miss it when you are traveling SW or UC pre-mount.

I think it's well worth it for travelling in/under water.
Your first trip to booty bay, just swim there and avoid the death run ;)
Excellent escape tool as well as others have mentioned.
Whenever I'm near water I try and keep my back to it and run that way when I need to. Most players will not chase you into the water even the ?? lol
It's earned me some good loot as well and helped on the menethil harbor cursed sailors quest plus the auberdine sunken ships quest.

Murlocs can.

Hmmm murlocs can. I should change that into a meme.

Water form is very worth it. free exp, gold and a form with great utility. I cant tell you how many times my rogue has drowned just before breaking air.

also there are quests and instances which involve going under water!!! with this form its so much easier as you dont have to worry about you air running out.

When I said it was ugly I might have mentioned I was a night elf.

After reading what you all said about the form I went and got it seems handy. I still think it looks like a twisted deranged dolphin experment gone wrong

Noone wants to mention you have to have it to complete the epic flight form quest?

If you want to miss out on the best part of the game (epic flight) go ahead and skip the sea lion thing.

I htought that too cunk but i think his initial impression after bear form was a similar battle type form.

You see OP, theres travel forms and battle forms. Moonkin, tree of life, bear and cat are battle forms. And the travel forms are cheetah, crow and aquatic form. Shamans have wolf form, which is like cheetah, but they get it much earlier i think

travel forms can bite by the way. which is comparable to a w3 peon whacking a t3 melee unit like a knight or tauren.

Level 70 entrenched in the great mining races. The opposing faction and yourself are blazing towards the next node. He dives with his epic mount and goes screaming towards that body of water with the Rich Adamatite Deposit.

You don't even blink, your bird pirhouettes towards the waters surface and suddenly you are airborne in caster form. He has dismounted and began swimming downward, but you have just popped into aquatic form the moment you hit the water. Down you both go. A sound as this crafty mage blinks towards your shared target, accompanied by your laughter as you still beat him to the node and are then happily swinging away with your trusty pick.

Now fully agitated the enemy is clicking frantically at their keyboard as you hold the node, not looting juuuust yet.
*Glurp* *Glurp* How odd, their life bar is going down...

You finish mining the node and the defeated mineral griefer corpse runs back to reclaim their body and take a slow swim to the surface. Meanwhile you are already airborne and marveling at the 7 swings it took to reap the full yield of that beautiful grey rock at the bottom of the lake.

Aquatic form, who needs it. It's stupid.

So forsake having another druidic form native to your class? I don't get the logic there.
