I'm going to ask a question I should either already know the answer to, or be able to figure out on my own, but I like outside opinions.
My armory is in my sig below. I am just doing Kara and Gruul right now basically and now have time to do some heroics.
Which piece of gear should I aim to replace next and with what?

You honestly just need everything. The only thing you don't need are weapons and a belt.
All of your gear is blue, ergo, needs to be upgraded. It's not like you can pick and choose what you want next, as in Kara, you should be taking every rogue drop.

I don't know when the next time I will get into Kara is, as my guild is more focused on Hydross/Lurker right now and drags me along because of a shortage of DPS after a recent guild split.
Should I just concentrate on doing as many heroics as I can each day and get some badge stuff? I'm getting dragged in for Hydross/Lurker ATTEMPTS, and I want to drag the raid down as little as possible.
If I can get into a Kara, any rogue drop defaults to me since the other 3 raiding rogues are decked out from there. I should also be next on the list for rogue T4 from Gruul as the only rogue besides me without it got his last week.
What I'm asking is what I can do outside of Kara for a decent increase in my DPS.

Yeah, I'd go for heroics trying to get the boots, hood, bracers, etc.
Rogue DPS is fairly solid even with blues, so you should put up respectable numbers on Lurker. We had hunters doing worse than MTs on that fight, so I wouldn't worry if your DPS is average.
It's mainly getting people to stop acting like retards that will get you past Lurker. He's a moron check.

Yeah we ran into the moron check on some Hydross attempts the other night.
Had somebody on Vent calling out when to stop DPS for the transition and they still couldn't do it.
I hd taken my headset off due to a splitting headache and was still able to figure out when to stop DPS.

It also helps to have the entire raid shift to the side he's being tanked during transition. I've seen instances where he turned around to Vile Sludge someone and reverted back to his opposite form and wipe the raid(while it also helps the ranged classes from casting during transition).
We usually call stop dots at 3 marks and stop dps at 4 marks.

I live by shadowpanther. My question wasn't about specific pieces of gear, just which pieces I should immediately look to upgrade outside of kara/gruul's.
Well, on a better note I did pick up Master Assassin's Wristwraps with badges after Kara last night and got Gloves of Dexterous Manipulation off Attumen.
I really just need new trinkets and probably should have saved my badges for Bloodlust Brooch, but all of my gear is so bad the wristwraps were a sizeable upgrade for me.
I'll just start farming BM and heroic Mech for the Hourglass and Abacus.

I wouldn't worry so much about your trinkets right now. Your cloak is pretty decent for now, and if you're not going into Kara (for the cloak Shade drops) then I'd throw a +12 agi enchant on the one you got now. Looks like you're doing arena and pvp, so you could get some upgrades that way i.e. the Vindicator's Pendant of Triumph.
And as Theo pointed out rogues do respectable dps in blues, just pop some enchants on the gear you plan on keeping such as the gloves of dexterous manipulation. Oh and if you are collecting badges you've got several options for the boots Nyn'jah's Tabi Boots(can't remember the spelling), Dory's Embrace (back piece), or the Bloodlust Brooch. I don't really know how many badges you have but those are some nifty upgrades.

Yeah, the wrists and the boots are both pretty good. It doesn't look like I will be replacing either of mine in the immediate future.
Well I misunderstood then, I thought you wouldn't get a shot at Kara for a while. If you're still going to go then I'd still recommend saving the badges for a different piece (i.e. the boots) Worgen Claw Necklace drops from Attumen the Huntsman. I am trying to save my badges for pieces I know I won't change out for a long long time like Sal said.
