Can someone help me?Follow

Ok, so I don't even have the game yet (I'm planing in advance!) and i need some help. Ok,I'm preaty sure that I want to be a Pally, but I do have a few questions. Oh, and i have read the FAQ and it helped me some, but it didn't help me with these questions. The first thing is that (Oh and mind you that I'm only 11 years old and I play M rated games and all that so I don't really care if you curse or whatever you do, just don't think I'm like 18 or something and no flaming plz!) I have no idea what Race to be, just that i have a friend who is alliance and just that if he is not gonna join a guild that i might make, than I might make a horde but otherwise, yeah so, I know there is Blood Elf and it's the only horde, but there is Human, Drawf, and Dranei < spelled wrong I know it is! =p for alliance, but my friend is saying that Dranei are like, weird huge things that can't fit though doors. Oh, and if you anwser this, plz use stuff that I don't know like... um... stuff like DPS, I know what that means (Damage per second) but other stuff.
Ok, so the other thing is that I don't know which skill thingy to go with. Holy, Rez, of Prot. I know that Holy is more of a healer and prot is like a tank but has really bad DPS (I think it might... or not I don't know...) and Rez is a mix or something, but I know people are gonna say, it's how you like to play. But my playing style is like run up with a 2H of 1H and do at least some damage or do some damage with a spell but I just don't want to like be a person who heals and take damage but can't deal it.I thought something like a Rez or Prot but i don't think thats they can do damage. Can they? So yeah oh and I have play WoW before so I know what it's like.

Edit: when I was talking about the thing about doing damage, I meant like, a warrior or a mage can do like, let just say 600 damage ( I'm just making thisup, I need the game so I can really see how much damage I can do) and i can do like only 120 ( from what I've heard on these boards). So why can't I like, at least half of the damage they do? Thanks in advance! Oh and can someone help me speak WoW. Like whats Kara and all that other stuff?

Okay there it is.... oh and isn't raiding for a PvP server? sorry im just a noob to WoW.

Sounds about right to me now if you want to dish some out. I wont lie to you i got flammed so fast here that i thought I was set on fire when i asked. Now you CAN dish it out but sustained dps that comes in raids and stuff you can just make an enchant shaman but for a shaman it's usually one or the other in terms of specc from what I have heard most. When it comes right down to it the best advice I can give you is: argh listen to the captin before I keel hal ya
