HEy everyone, i am new to the Pallidan and i was wondering, when is the soonest, and where can i train in polearms? Also on this topic, what, in your oppinion, is the best type of weapon to use as a pally? Thanks for your time.

level 20... silvermoon and UC if you're horde.

The best weapon is whatever you can get your hands on.

The best info about the class can be found in the sticky. Read it, learn it, love it.

I think the answer to the polearm question is level 20. As for the "best weapon"..... there isnt one. Use whatever comes along, and then upgrade when something else comes along, rinse repeat. Have fun.

this depends on your lvl and what you want to accomplish. if you want to heal, then a one handed mace will pretty much always be your preferred weapon. If you want to tank, then there will be a few options, but typically a one handed sword will have the most spell damage (which is what you'll use to generate threat). If you want to be ret and DPS then any 2h weapon with a speed of 3.5 or slower will be your best bet. level'ing up there's no particular pattern to 2h weapons that i've noticed, so just keep an eye out for slow 2h'ers with as much str/crit as possible. for weapons with equal stats, slower speed wins. for weapons with equal speed and top end damage: 1 str/1 crit > 2 AP/1 agi.
