I'm currently 65, and while I don't have a complete MM set up such as the one you linked, I am pretty close at something like 5-48-2. I'd say this is a personal decision. I have never had a problem questing with my MM hunter. I solo just fine and do well in groups.

Aggro can be an issue; be prepared for your pet to lose aggro once in a while, but if you use your pet well, can kite, and use traps and FD effectively, then you should be fine.

I know a few BM hunters and they do well with those characters. Personally though, I feel like I have more fun doing DPS with my hunter rather than my pet.

I think both are good routes to go. I think a good player can do well with either MM or BM. I'd say try both and see which one you like more.

Its ultimately up to you. However consider that you've already populated the BM tree. Your remaining talent points are going to be placed into the MM tree, that is if you follow the normal 41/20/0 build. You'll get a taste of MM in the next several levels. I'd wait until you get to 70 and reassess.

I am loving my 63 BM Hunter. I am going the 41/20/0 route as well but at the moment it is 41/13/0. I have a boar as a pet which generates a lot of aggro on the charge which means I can normally just fire away to my heart's content without taking aggro off my pet.
#5REDACTED, Posted: Feb 12 2008 at 6:11 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) stick to Bm as thats THE best spec for solo-ing/ 5-mans / and some lower level raids (once u go t5 t6 u should switch to marks and surv) but ya BM is the best and stick to a 41/12/0 i guess

From what source do you draw this conclusion? BM scales just fine with gear.

As long as there's another SV hunter in the raid, BM tops the dps charts over all the other specs.
