Ok so I got my rogue to 70, I pvp'd with him... Then got into a good raiding guild now I raid 3 days a week with him. Got bored so I made a mage and leveled him to 70. I havent pvp'd with him yet though. I find the end game after 70 kinda boring. I love to go into 25 mans and down boss's and since we are progressing its nice to take on a new boss's and down them too.

What do you guys do when either, your waiting for a heroic/raid or just during your down time. I lvl'd both my guys pretty fast from 60-70 from instances and didnt quest much. I dont have a epic flying mount on either of my toons.

I guess I could work on quests but I dont find it as rewarding as trying to lvl.

Do you guys ever get bored? And what do you do when your not running something/pvp'ing?

If you're going to stick with PvE quest related stuff, while trying to beat off boredom, I'd suggest creating goals for you to work towards. Leveling up is, of course, the first goal you end up having. Now that it's done, you can create others.

Complete quests for gold now and, rather than watching your levels advance one at a time, count every hundred gold you get. You can look forward to getting an epic flying mount for a toon. Maybe collect gear from built up reputation. Perhaps even take up a production trade skill and level that up, and work towards the more rare recipes.

I had the same thing happen to me. I got my shaman to 70 first, specced ele, and started to raid Kara with my guild.

After 2-3 weeks I got bored. Took my 60 war up to 70, specced prot and tried to start gearing him out. After a couple weeks of tanking for PUGs I was both bored and disgusted.

At this point I rerolled my rogue (had a 33 troll rogue, deleted him and rolled an undead rogue) and took him from 1-70 in a couple weeks.

I tried grinding BGs on my shaman to get him gear, I tried grinding BGs on the rogue and war to get them gear, but no matter what I did I always got bored.

Then I set a goal for myself. I have 3 70s and none of them have an epic flyer. I decided that until I had an epic flyer I would focus on getting on. Now, over the last 2 weeks I have managed to save up 4400g with little to no farming involved, simply by running 3 sets of dailies in Skettis and Ogri'la each day. I'll have my epic flyer in about a week, then I can set another goal for myself and go about achieving it.

My advice is, decide on what you want, and set an achievable goal for yourself. Then, go out and attain that goal.

If you set a goal for yourself and work towards it every day you will find yourself having more fun and actually accomplishing the goals you set for yourself.

My free time is occupied by daily quests. As soon as you get your epic flyer and unlock the Netherwing dailies, you'll have so many to do, you'll find yourself wondering where all your time went.

First, get your epic flier. Then, work towards a Netherdrake/Aether Ray. After that, arenas are always fun. If you're still bored, there's always the option of rolling a new toon and trying out a different class.

If I wanted to bore myself to tears, I'd go for my PhD, not play a game.

Civ games haven't been good since Civ 2.

Pretty far, it's going to take me at least another 10-20 years before I even think about getting that.

My PhD in Being an ******* to Anyone and Everyone is almost complete, though.

How about you? How's the I Completely Fail at PvP mastery going?

Pretty well, apparently.

Aww, I like Civ games, especially this one. They added a lot more you can do with spies, and corporations too. One of the neatest things about Civ IV is how much support they made for modification. It's all XML script, so tons upon tons of people have made modded scenarios and ultra-realistic modes including new civilizations, units etc. Good times.

You kids and your Asperger's these days.

Oh, and if you're trying to flame my pvp skill because of gear or arena rating, lolfail.

Truer words have seldom been spoken.

Just for posterity, I'll occasionally break out my laptop and fire up Civ2. I usually get bored after a few hours, so I generally enable cheats, then build obscene amounts of Howitzers and steamroll my enemies.

Theo is much better on his sub-1600 teams.

Eh I think Theo was merely poking fun - not sincerely trying to flame me. I think if he were trying to tear me a new one, there'd be no doubt about it. But yeah, you can't tell **** about a player's Skill by looking at his arena teams or gear.

I mean, I have more hitpoints that everyone on my 5v5, warrior and paladins included.

I can't tell if you're actually being sincere or being sarcastic.

Odds are, sarcastic.

In which case, I'm going to repeat my mantra: I play with a feral druid in 2s, I don't play 3s because Draka is gayer than AIDs and everyone sucks at PvP (we had 0 Glads in s2, and I can count all the Duelists on my fingers Horde-side), and rogues are pretty abysmal in 5s.

Wait 2 weeks until my druid specs Dreamstate, then check my ratings.

So I guess I will start working on my epic Flying mount! Thank you all who had some good inputs! I am horde so where do I pick up the dailies that big daddy was talking about?

I will edit this so it is readable.

Ok so yes I agree, I failed trying to make your stupid comment any easier to read. But I was able to fix your spelling.

So moving on, Ok so I’m not fully t-whatever but to me its the end game. And to you it might be the start of the game. Either way we are both correct! But thank you for pointing that out!

Again thx to everyone who had something to say. I guess I've been putting off the epic mount because 5k gold seems like a lot but its easily done. Just quest and do dailies!
