K here is my armory link http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Kel%27Thuzad&n=Hoyle

Now I know that I've got enough defense, but that both my avoidace and stamina are low.

I plan on getting the nethercleft leg armor, just working on getting mats and finding a leatherworker who isn't asking 100g for the nether fee.

I was thinking of changing out a few of my def/stamina gems for either the +12 stamina gems or a couple of the I think +8 parry (the living ruby cuts) to help with my avoidance stats.

As far as end game stuff goes, I hope to do kara as the guild OT, and then as gear progresses to one day MT for a run or two.

I know that my build isn't the perfect OT build, but since I've still got quite a few quests to run, I'll stick with the build I have now; plus do a lot of the 5 man instances for drops to send to enchanter for mats.

One other question, got the http://wow.allakhazam.com/search.html?q=spaulders+of+righteous on some run, can't remember where, but would those be better than these http://wow.allakhazam.com/search.html?q=warchief+mantle which I already have and gemmed with def/stamina and then a yellow defense

I also plan on changing the enchant on the gloves, but not sure what the best option would be, was thinking of the spell strike enchant; the +5 mining just came with the gloves when I got them off the AH.

Should I also look at changing out the defense enchant on my bracers to a stamina enchant?

Realms just went down for maitainance, so I can't look up your Armory :( But, I'll try to answer your questions without that.

Can't really say if this is a good move or not without being able to see your gear. Personally, I would focus on upping your avoidance with gear not gems, unless you really need to get some. You really don't want to emphasize Parry a lot, again unless you really need the avoidance. Block and Dodge are better, and your Defense/Stamina gems will up all those a bit plus give some much needed health. My gems are always Solid Star of Elune, Enduring Talasite, or Glowing Nightseye (not including the gems from Heroics which are unique-equipped currently).

I had both those shoulders as well, I went with the Righteous ones. imo those will serve you much better then the Warchief's.

Heavy Knothide Armor Kit: +10 Stamina. Particularly as an off tank that extra health will serve you better than some more spell damage. Starting Kara all you really need is a spell damage weapon with +40 damage enchant, maybe one other piece of gear with spell damage, so get the health.

If you can afford to lose some defense, I would go with the stamina enchant. But, would need to see your stats before I could say for sure =/ Grr to maintainance day ...
