So here's my link http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Kel%27Thuzad&n=Trollover

I'd like to stay with the demo build and just tweak it a little to help with doing mostly solo questing and the occasional instance.

Not real worried about gear, but would like to tweak my dps a little if possible. Yes to all those who want to tell me to go affliction or destruction, I know that both of those spec's give you stronger dps, but unless I'm completely mistaken, demo spec is more based on solo surivability, right?

Thanks for any help

Demonology is mostly based around soloing or PvP, but a skilled player can make it viable in raids (see Oakenwrath's topic). Your current build SHOULD be fine for PvE at 70 if you work it right.

However, if you want to slowly "wean" yourself off Demonology, you might think about going SL/SL for a while. The DPS is gimpy, it was designed for PvPing mostly, but it's the most survivable Warlock build out there which makes it great for farming or tough quests. You'd also get used to a full Affliction playstyle (Drain Tanking, where you Drain Life and take the hits rather than your pet).

As it is, if you don't want a major build shift, I'd take some points out of something to take 1/3 or 2/3 Mana Feed. Also, Improved Voidwalker, Imp AND Succubus? You shouldn't really need any if you're specced for Felguard.

Felguard 70 Build
SL/SL 70 Build
Affliction 70 Build

These builds are just general ideas, don't be afraid to tweak them.

and I agree with taking points out of my voidwalker and imp, those were first put in when I first started playing and just haven't ever really picked up my lock for that long of a run, have a 70 pally tank and a 70 bm hunter that I usually play, but have gotten tired of both of them.

So I'll admit that when it comes to locks some of the acronym's are lost on me, so the SL/SL build?

Then the other question I have is that from what I've read, granted not a lot, but most sites say that demo locks aren't big in raids, but more those that are pure affliction or destruction.

I guess in the end I could always mock up a few affliction or destruction builds and try them out to see how I like them. The nice thing is that money isn't a huge issue with 2 70's to funnel me money as I need it. Plus my lock is a 335 enchanter so anything that drops gets DE'd and makes some huge gold in the AH.

Sorry for the off topic rant

Siphon Life/Soul Link, an Affliction/Demonology build that forsakes Felguard for Siphon Life.

It's perfectly possible to raid hardcore as a Demonology Warlock. Our very own Oakenwrath's main is living (undead?) proof of that. Good luck whatever spec you choose, and I hope you're re-scholarized soon.
