Evaluation for raid progressionFollow

To start off, my guild is currently in SSC, yet I don't have the chance to raid because I'm still moving up through kara/heroic 70 gear.

Currently I'm at 240 +hit(260 with food), and 1428 Attack Power. In zul'aman tonight(my first time in that instance) i got second versus an arms warrior in full pvp gear(s1 full set + s1 great sword.) The mage nearly caught up during aoe, yet i shut him down overall on the elites. We downed first boss and quickly moved through Bird event to get to akil'zon(eagle). We tried 4 times,

Fight 1 - 13%, healers ran oom
fight 2- 1% with tank 1 dps and healers left, Akil'zon enrage timer went off and slaughtered.
Fight 3 - 5% Storm took out a healer that was off center, couldn't recover in time.
Fight 4- 58%, I on accident was blocked out by the wind wall that prevents zerging and decided to wipe because I was 2 on dps + constant 2s&d/5rupture.

I have just got my mongoose enchant on my S1 main hand, and when honor is calculated tomorrow I will have S1 offhand sword.

I've only had a few kara runs which got me, Cloak of the Arathi Kings, Grips of Deftness, Bracers of Maliciousness. But this weekend i will be raiding Karazhan/Zul'aman again and will hope for some drops to improve(netherblade+ trinket from romulo/edgewalkers/akil'zon talon).

Also, me and my buddy have an arena team that we practice 10 games together each week. He's a kara/S2 gear mix Hunter. Currently we're just staying below 1500 for easier matches to practice on, this week we did our best yet and went 5-5, which will calculate tomorrow. Currently I have 689 arena points and get more tomorrow.

Which piece of S2 should i go for first? Please check my armory and give me a tip?

Basically, I'm looking for some pointers on what to improve on by the rogue community.
