Hi, I'd like to ask you about Gladiator set setup for pvp. I'm going to play with sl/sl build. My question is: should I get 5/5 Gladiator's Dreadweave (don't add to crit rating, but has higher stats) or 2/5 Dreadweave and 3/5 Felweave (adds crit rating). I saw many ppl using that second option. That way you get 35 extra resilence and some crit rating. Is 0.2 sec shorter Fear better than this resilence? I don't have much resilence, I just started farming honor. And which 3 parts I should buy if I choose second option? I hope some pvp lock will help me.
It's best to start planning now for the spec you wish to be in the future. If you're happy with Affliction and won't be raiding and getting the gear necessary for a full out destro build, go with the extra stats.
With my build, I've gone with the extra crit. Regardless, too much further in the future and you'll be looking at PvP and PvE sets of equipment.
To start with though, look at your gear and the gear that can replace it and determine which would be the biggest upgrade. If you have green hands and blue belt/wrist/back, you should probably upgrade your hands.

I don't think you will get two 2-piece bonuses. I think that the set bonuses are across the board for the gladiator gear. Meaning that if you have two-dreadweave and two-felweave, then you get the 2and4-piece bonus and not 2 2-piece bonuses. I can't remember where I read that, so I may be wrong.
You do get 2 2pc set bonuses. I have 2/5 Merc Glad Dread and 2/5 Vengeful Felweave for that reason.

Thanks for replies, but you didn't answer my question :P I'm sl/sl, I would like to keep this build, because I'm going to play arenas when I get some serious gear. I won't raid with this lock. I want to buy 5 Gladiator pieces. So is it better to combine 2 sets and get 70 resilence bonus, or buy one set and get shorter fear cast? I'm sure that you get 2x35 resi, because I saw many locks geared likt that. If 2 sets are better, then tell me which pieces of which set would be best. For example Dreadweave gloves and shoulders and rest of Felweave? Can you give me good combination?

If you're playing Arenas then get more Resilience...
The Fearmod on 4/5 is NOT worth it compaired to 35 extra resilience, especially when your talking S1 gear your Resilience options aren't as vast are they are when you will climb up the gear ladder.
The 4/5 mod is excellent in theory (a good % off Fear cast) but in the heat of battle, under the stress of latency, it will very rarely be the difference between life and death (where Resilience most definatly will be.)
With SL/SL don't go for Crit rating first either, go for the 3/5 Dreadweave for more stats.

Since your going for the glad set, which i take it means you have low hp/resiliance already id go 3 dreadweave and 2 felweave.
The shorter fear is amazing but getting your hp/resiliance up is more important to start off.
