Proffesion help pleaseFollow

Hello,

My druid is level 21 right now and has skinning and herbalism right now. Skinning is like 150'ish and herb is like 70+. Now the whole reason i took gathering was because of the money. Now would i be better off getting mining and herbalism? I see some people with this combo. Is it worth the time for the money? And how do u get them both done if you can only activate one tracking at a time? Should i just stick with what i have?

I use both Mining and Herb on my alt. It works fine. I have the track herb / track modes hotkeyed to an easy keyboard setting that I can hit while running. I also have gatherer that will track where I have picked flowers / mined nodes before. You will miss a few mines or herbs here or there, but I really didn't think that lower level skinning was making me the money that mining or herbalism could make, so I decided to go that route.

As a side note, you can generally tell where you will find mines and where you will find flowers. Open prairie area = flowers, with maybe a mine or two on an outcrop of rock or underwater. Mountain area = either, but mostly mining.

If you are going to go with two gathering professions get an addon that will track where you have picked herbs and mines before, and get ready to continually switch your tracking.

Will it make the money that i hope it will? Do people really buy herbs and leather?
