In 2.4, it appears the GCD can be lowered to 1 second. I'm just wondering, if haste-capped, how many people a druid can keep rejuv + 3x lifebloom on at one time?

Trying to figure out which fight Blizzard wants Resto Druids to gear for where a one second GCD on Lifebloom/Rejuv is beneficial, considiring most Restos are just maintaining HoTs their group tank and off-tank. Not exactly difficult to do with the current GCD.

Unless they're implementing fights where Regrowth and Healing Touch for spike heals are necessary, or trying to shift Druids away from HoTs for some strange reason...maybe preparing us for a HoT nerf so we become another long caster?

I don't know if spell haste takes the same as melee haste, but I think RPZip crunched numbers and said you'd need something like 540 haste rating to drop the global cooldown to one second. I imagine the change is more for the next tier of gear or maybe even the expansion where you could get the GCD down, but its kinda hard right now unless you're running the best gear in the game, even then you'd sacrifice other stuff for that much haste.

770ish. And melee haste doesn't reduce GCD, only spell haste does. If anyone can figure out the reason for that, let me know.

With that much haste you could keep up more Bloom stacks... but itemization-wise, 770 Haste Rating is worth as much as ~1700 +Healing. Which would you rather have, d'you think?
