That's true, but I'm thinking more along the lines of this meaning that I can carry another 20 things with me that I normally have to go to the bank for before a raid. It's a small amount of convenience, yes, but it'll add up over time to mean a lot of conveniece.

This guy was an F'in genius... He forgot to add:
for this bow to fit a 1:1 BM rotation, it seems like a LOT of haste gear would be needed... Is it worth it?

honestly, with the amount of DPS that the legendary bow has, it doesn't matter. Both the Black Bow of the Betrayer and the Legendary bow have a speed of 3.0. It's not the ideal speed that hunters are used to, but the raw DPS makes up for slowing down our 1:1 shot rotation.

the ideal speed for BM hunters is 1.7-1.9 after all the speed increases. The high level bows will leave you sitting at about 2.1 speed with no haste gear.

Also if you can get a paladin tank for seal of wisdom or get into a Spriest group, you can use the 3:2 shot cycle. This is already higher dps, and with the massive boost to steady, will be crazy.
