Was this encounter altered so that the last boss of HellFire Ramparts can't be solo'd by a druid?
Just tried several times and the 2 guards just keep respawning, just want to get my hands on the Tank ring dammit!

Think it may be a bug, no reason for mobs to keep respawning.
Yea according to the wowwiki its a known bug that has that has been around for close to a year now. Source
Me and a group did that not too long ago, and found out that you have to kill the guards within a few seconds of eachother, otherwise they respawn. Tested it a few times, and it still holds true :)

Happened to me too, but only once on Heroic mode about a month ago. I thought maybe it only happened in Heroic to make it harder since it had never happened before.
Like theblackcasper said, killing them within a few seconds of each other is how we got them to stop spawning.

I don't know about the guards respawning but before 2.3 I was able to solo the last boss pretty easily. After 2.3 I'm not able to hit the dragon while its in the air making the fight so much more difficult. Before I would just pull the two guards back to the other side of the bridge, kill them there and Vazruden would drop off dragon and just stand there while I killed dragon in the air. Now I have to kill him first(which I cant do fast enough) and the dragon will come down and I have both of them on me.
Makes me mad, because it was an easy way to get three small pris. shards a run. Now I only get one a run by killing Omar(which is extremely easy).
