Well i have read the sticky s like most people say to when first researching a class but they seem very outdated now ill stop rambling. My question is what are druids good for are they good for tanking and healing or have patches downed their usefulness. I'm just curious about peoples opinions before i go investing time into one only to be disappointed.

If you want the best boss tank, go warrior.
If you want the best off-tank, go druid.
If you want the best trash tank, go pally.

If you want the most mana efficient healer, go paladin.
If you want the best HoT healer (good for 2-3 targets), go druid.
If you want the best AoE healer go shaman.
If you want the best overall healer, go priest.

Druids can also DPS in 2 different forms, have CC if beasts or dragonkin are present, as well as a root that only works outdoors (ZA, ZF, ZG...all the zul stuff...this'll be great for).

I love my druid. It's hard to learn though. In all honesty, a druid should not be your first class (unless you pick up things FAST), I'd reccomend a more specialized class until the mid-levels first if this is your first toon.
