I guess it's my OCD, but I'm starting to build up a huge collection of rings that I just can't bring myself to throw away. Here's all the ones I have:
Elementium Band of the Sentry
Violet Signet (Honored)
Shermanar Great Ring
Protector's Mark of the Redemption
Dath'remar's Ring of Defense
Andormu's Tear
I'm tempted to throw away my Andormu's Tear and Elementium Band of the Sentry, and keep everything else (for the SBV). Then I'd use VS + SGR for a Stamina set, and PMR and DRD for an aggro or SBV set. Thoughts?

Keep the violet signet for now. At exalted, it turns into a really nice ring. If you don't have the right ring now, once you get to exalted you can trade it for the right ring (for a small fee). As for the other ones, if the ring is for an off spec keep it. If it's blue and you don't use it, get your 3 gold from a vendor and move on. Basically, from the quality of rings those all are, me thinks you will be replacing them soon. Good luck^^
I would keep the Elementium Band and the Violet signet. The elementium band only has a little less stam than the Shermanar and it has dodge rating, which is the best pure avoidance stat.

You forgot to mention though that the shermanar ring has armor, which is the best effective HP stat.
It really comes down to having multiple sets, the shermanar + violet for max stam fights, the avoidance ring for avoidance preferred fights (like prince, stage 2) and the SBV rings for general, trash high threat sets.
BTW, do you have to turn in your old violet signet to get the next level? Or can you just de/vendor the old one and get a brand new one at the next rep level?
Pretty sure you can't DE or vendor it, as it's gained via rep, but I may be wrong, never tried. I think you can only destroy it.
You should be able to destroy it and just get the next rank, though I don't know why you would.
