Better character = better player.

Just....wrong. Do you really want me to explain why this is so wrong?

Let's say I make a group. We have 2 hunters. One has good gear, one doesn't. The one with good gear never comes close to the threat threshold. The one with bad gear hovers around it the whole run, never crossing it. In the end, the one with good gear did twice as much damage as him. Who do you think I'm gonna take when I'm looking to make another group? The one that stayed near the threat threshold? NO WAY. He's getting left in the dust where he belongs.

How many times the hunter that does not watch to the threat meter pulled aggro? How many times him and the healer died thanks to this?
If this answer is more than 0, so I'll stick with the hunter that have a less geared char but knows how to play it.

Even assuming that the better geared player never did cross the line, when the other player have better equipment, his damage output and dps will be oh so much more than the player that have the better equipment right now.

Your worth as a dpser is not in how close you make it to pulling aggro without pulling aggro. It's in how much damage you do. Period. End of story.

DPS druid X not bleedable mob will have a worst dps than a rogue/hunter/warrior/whatever in this encounter. This don't make the duid a worse player. The same goes for mobs that have huge armor but take lots and lots of damage of spells (can't remember the name of the mob, but there is one that takes 20k plus crit from the right mage spell rotation at the right time). This doesn't make the mage a better player, just a more suitable character for that particular encounter.

Face it, man. You are wrong, I'm sorry. Sometimes I am too, and I'll admit. Sometimes everyone has to admit their mistakes. Or not. I end my part in this discussion.
