i need help getting past level 56Follow

good news! you only need level 58 for outlands. For me there are SOOOO many quests in your bracket that what I do is go to a few different places to break up the monotony so its not so boring. Winterspring is great, as are both plaguelands. PLus the XP on quests have been raised you should blow through that last level and a half in no time.

IM not much for guides but here is a step by step one, just open the level 56 portion and do it til you hit 58 and outlands. DOnt worry if its not exact, just follow what you can, you may have done some quest or missed a few, no biggy, just follow on to 57 and even 58 if needed until you get your level:

Also, I know the bore of leveling and all, and I went straight to outlands at 58 on my first toon, but you will be gimping yourself due to all quests you would have if you waited til 60 to go to outlands as any undone quests in outlands, instead of xp its straight up gold, and you will probably want to gear yourself up, by epic mounts and so on and the quickest way to farm the money is having undone quests, even the lower 60s ones (very easy for a 70 to blow through) as you can get 10-12G sometimes up to 20-24G per little quest.

WPL, EPL, Winterspring. It's easy to get 2-3 levels just doing all the quests in those places and kill everything in your path. I took all my toons to Outland at 60. More gold for later on. You probably want your epic mount as soon as possible too, so if you haven't, start making money for it. You'll need it in Outland.

I personally can't stand the Plaguelands at all. Packed mobs, not a lot of quests... I just do the cauldron quests ( which are a nice 50k+ exp) and leave.

Winterspring is good. Silithus is meh.

If you ever level up another character, I'd suggest grinding on the Blood Elves in Azshara. I got 4 levels on my Rogue by doing circuits around the camp. Also got about 400 runecloth, which is nice if you have tailoring. Of course, this was before the exp changes. I was always a few levels above the areas after the exp changes.

Just stick it out and you'll get there eventually. As for going to outlands at 60 to have more quests at 70, I tried that on my Rogue. Got halfway into 58 before I decided getting attacked by poison-spewing sand worms in Silithus isn't very fun. I had all of SMV, Netherstorm, half of BEM and Nagrand left over at 70. I suppose it depends on how much experience you get from instances and grinding. And if you decide to go Holy, a lot of your experience will be from instances.

Speaking of Azshara, there's the tablet quest out there that has you grabbing those tablets, talking to the lady, then going to the four hub cities to turn them into people. The whole thing, depending on level, is worth a good chunk of exp, and it's a pretty simple task.

I did it at 53 and it was about half a level on it's own for me.
