CB + SF + Ruthless + Relentless?Follow

I was just wondering if it is possible to have a critical 5 CP eviscerate that adds 2 CPs to your next cycle for only 10 energy. That would be pretty awesome if you ask me. This is also assuming your opponent survives the eviscerate.

His question is, finishers DO add combo points, with Ruthlessness.

My gut instinct is that that doesn't work, however, because the finisher itself isn't counted as having added the combo point, but Ruthlessness is. Ruthnessness, not being an actual ability, is incapable of critting, therefore critting a finishing move won't get you Seal Fate procs.
