Pass or Fail?Follow

I was bored today and I have been thinking about coming up with a new build for me and this came to mind. http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=cVfhZVV0oZIo0GtfMuVzb
It would be used for Heroics, Raids, and Arena. Opinions and suggestions please. Pass or Fail?

Edit- Never could make polls.

Automatic fail, no build can shine in all 3.

After looking at your build: even more fail, i dont even know where to start.
Its just impossible to make that holy grail spec you're after.

Raid AND Arena?

I could think of a better spec for raid.... and I could think of a better one for Arena. But as far as both?

I'd pass on the IaotM and Aimed shot... something more like this would suit me.

Why not just do your dailies so that you can afford a respec every so often, and have a good build for each instead of a crappy build that covers all areas? Doing the Netherwing dailies from honored and down, your BG daily, and the normal and heroic dailies, you will get around 140 gold, per day, which is enough to afford to respec for arena once your done your raids for the week, and back once they reset.

Maybe not, but this comes pretty damn close. It's harder to trap in heroics, but does fairly well in raids and arena.

Yeah, I had a feeling for fail. How would that spec work with just PvP?

its the easymode spec in PvP and although MM is stronger its way harder to play right too.
And for PvE that build misses out on Imp. Mend Pet and imp. ress pet, wich you really need once you go past 10 mans.
or your pet just dies to easely and you are unable to ress it during combat.
In heroics its a sucky build.. it will do but trapping is hard with it.

It is the closest thing to the holy grail build though.. but its not great at all 3.
Wich is exactly the way Blizzard designed it.

Absolutely agree, no build can rule in all areas and even trying will net you a mediocre spec that will excel at nothing and probably make your life miserable at everything.

Pick what you think you will be doing most of and live with the loss of utility in the other areas. Most large RAID or BG groups can handle some small level of inefficiency. Areas that can't:

• 2v2, 3v3 arena teams. You must be in a PvP spec. 5v5 is not as critical.
• Herioc Instances. You must be able to pull your weight kiting and trapping, that generally means at least a dozen points in SV.

PvE grinding, doesn't matter what spec or how inefficient. Most mobs get hammered by a hunter. You could probably be effective naked and with 61 talent points to spend. I don't know if anyone has tried that but as long as your pet is solid, I don't see why you couldn't play Tarzan or Jane of the Jungle in PvE. I wouldn't try it in instances but just out there grinding- who cares?

I always feel the 41/20 BM Raid spec has done it all for me. Although I havent done arena, I still own up BGs, I still have no trouble soloing, and obvously raid and group DPS. Trapping is managable (Not nearly as good as SV, but i can still do it)

But, if youre specifically talking about Arena/Raid only...I dunno, maybe I'll try to find myself and Arana 2v2 or 3v3 and see how it goes for me.

If you are looking for a great all around build then check out mine, I can usually get top damage in any raid I've been in and its not to bad for the arena.

No offense, but if you top 'any raid you're in' with that build you are either way better geared/skilled then the rest of the raid or the raid simply sucks.
