So my guild has Kara and Gruul on farm now, and as we venture into the later content, I am unsure what consumables I should be using. In kara now I am not using any as they are a waste. For Gruul I have been using the BEM flasks with mana oil and fish sticks. Fully Gruul buffed I am at 2100 healing, around 290mp5 while casting, 8.8k health and 10.9k mana. What consumables, mostly elixirs/flasks should I be looking to pick up for the later content?

You have an armory link? Not even my guild leader has quite that high of regen, and he's the highest I've seen by scores.

Elixir of Healing Power with either Major Mageblood or Draenic Wisdom, Golden Fish Sticks, Brilliant Mana Oil is the best setup.

I use pretty much what lsfreak recomends. I have 1808 base and generally don't use consumables until TK/SSC. But when I do I use:

Healing Power, Draenic Wisdom and Fish Sticks. Mana oil if someone has it but I normally don't go out of my way to get it (although I probably should).

I wouldn't worry about carrying all those elixars and pots. All you really need for tk and ssc is mp5 flasks, whatever food you choose(sometimes stam is the best choice, fights like al'ar), and mana oil.

As you gain gear upgrades in tk/ssc your mp5 will initinally drop, while your stam and healing will go up most likely. Esspecially getting rid of that nasty PMC =P. This means you'll probably wanna get the mp5 back with the flask.

Most fights in BT/Hyjal will be best with the mp5 flask also, except for RoS which mp5 really doesn't mean anything since each phase is so quick. Not to mention a few fights I put on some PvP gear, since raid damage is so high which causes me to lose mp5.

This past weekend when we did VR I used the buffs listed here, with the brilliant(the one thats 12mp5 with some healing) oil. I was sitting at 2127 healing and 284 mp5 while casting. I know armory isn't going to show this since no buffs are on, but I'll snap a pic later this week when we raid. I think my biggest problem right now seems to be my lack of health. I am at around 8.8ish, but it feels low to me.

Your armory wouldn't come up for some reason but i think i remember you having full primal mooncloth set, you just gotta get rid of that for more stam. Then work on replacing every other peice you have with no stam on it.

The craftable healer set that is in 2.4 is going to be awesome. From what I've read, the patterns drop in both the 5mans and 25mans. Hopefully I'll get that soon. I'm going to start making the PMC that's needed for it.

@jcbronco
Thats a really good idea. Although if the grind from 70-80 is anything like 60-70 I think you'll have plenty of time to make PMC.

On second thought, economically it'll be a great idea since you'll have all your PMC ready and then be able to sell your CD to the highest bidder.

Eh, replacing PMC isn't a huge "must to nowz!" It's still best until you have the crafted Vortex belt, ZA robe, and 2pT5.

The crafted stuff in 2.4 ONLY comes from the 25-mans. The caster stuff is godly, the healing stuff less so since Blizzard has this ridiculous idea that healers want haste over other stats. Still good, just not as powerful as the dps robes.

Yep from what i read the crafted stuff is only from 25 mans, and the chest is a bop pattern. With the lack of spirit compared to T6 seems like the will be on par with the Robe of Eternal Light with the only upgrade being the haste. I'd be a lot happier if it had some spirit on it, if you didn't lose the 36 spirit from T6 it would be a very good upgrade.
