What class is more fun to play than a mage?
Can any other class hurl a gigantic blazing ball of fire at an enemy and watch it burst into big yellow numbers?
Can any other class magically transform someone into a sheep, pig or even turtle?
Can any other class seal themselves in a huge, unpenatrable block of ice?
So, there may be classes that are better at PVP and such. And there may be folks grumbling about how we need buffing and other classes are overpowered etc. But without a doubt there is something that little bit special about playing a mage wouldn't you say?!!

We've got some tricks up our sleeve, to be sure. It's what makes playing a mage in PvP so challenging--such a diverse array of abilities (combined with low inherent survivability).
Speaking of mage tricks, does anyone else think it's ridiculous that our WE goes OOM before his 45 secs are up if he's constantly casting? Seems to me those two characteristics (duration and mana pool) should be more aligned. Not exactly the first fix I'd pick if given the choice of mage buffs, but it is irksome.

I completely agree. My first toon was a hunter and I enjoy playing him. My first alt I made completely out of logic: a paladin. Made him thinking that everybody always needs a healer or a tank so I should never have a problem getting a group together, plus I wanted an enchanter alt, so belf was a no brainer. Didnt take me long to realize that pallies just are not that much fun to play..flash here, holy there, seal this and judge that..boring!
Then I rolled a mage because on more than one occasion I was left in awe at how fast and awesome they could burn down mobs. Best decision I ever made, as now folks I group with stand with their jaw to the floor at the destructive power I wield, bringing death and destruction to all those who oppose me. You carry your 10 foot 100 pound sword all you want, I roll with armed nuclear ordnance in the palm of my hands.

Yeah, that bugs the living crap out of me.
I also enjoy my mage moar than any other class I've ever rolled. My favorite feeling? Having six-ten mobs in front of me encased in a jagged fly strip that is my frost nova and watching as they all fall to the floor while jagged pinions of death still fall on the field of battle as if a giant ice condor just shook himself loose of his plumage over my foes.

Can you please explain to me what a warlock's Soul Fire looks like?
Well it is fiery but I think the numbers are bright tan. Yep, just checked...defiantly bright tan.
