What Direction From Here ?Follow

OK talents builds are covered at nauseum I know, but it is to the point that someone like myself that only started playing WoW just over a month ago simply is overwhelmed with information and opinions. So I am going to ask a direct question about my build which as it stands is here http://www.wowarmory.com/character-talents.xml?r=Staghelm&n=Callaa

The question is would putting the rest of my points in resto give me enough healing power to fill the role of a healer of 5 man groups or will I fall too short at the 50-70 lvls? And just end up hurting my DPS making it harder to get in groups for the instances available from 50 to 70. Thus should I just fill out the enh tree and spend the rest in ele to up my DPS through shock and lightning spells.

Opinions please and to answer some questions before they come up I only do PVE never PVP and would like to average 50/50 soloing/group instances.

Thanks in advance.

Putting points into resto. from here is a good way to go, especially to get nature's guidance. The 3%+to hit from that and the 6% from dual wield spec. will make it so that you will hardly miss your targets. However, you have to max out mental quickness. That is a must for enhancement shamans. Most enhancement shamans shock a lot to increase dps. The bonus to spell damage and to healing is, to coin a phrase, "priceless". My lvl 64 enhancement shaman, with a total of +18 to spell damage and healing from gear, has a total of +215 to spell damage and healing because of my AP and mental quickness.
I would recomend that you take 2 points out of anticipation and put them into enhancing totems. The bonus to your AP that you will get from your enhanced strength of earth totem will further increase your mele damage as well as
+ spell damage and healing through mental quickness.
I putting some points into healing grace is something that I plan to do. I've been main healing some early outlands instances and found that my threat from healing is pulling some mobs off of the tank. I hope that healing grace will help with that.

You can click on the name of my shaman in my signature to see the 45/16 build I ended up going with.

It's working great for me right now while grinding dailies and even in a herois SP run I got into the other day.

To be honest, with this kind of build you will find it rather difficult to solo-heal any outlands instances unless you have a separate healing set that is fairly good.

Just focus on getting the best gear you can for your enhance spec and getting into groups as DPS. DPS shamans are especially useful in groups with druid healers, as the shamans can serve as wipe prevention with the ankh and ability to rez everybody.

Thanks for the info I was thinking the points spent for the increased dodge % would be helpful but I guess not. So reorganize my enh points filling out the totem improving areas and mental quickness, then anything left into ele for better DPS.
