Hello

I am in TK at the momment and on the Blind man, when the shadows come to get me being full 00/00/61 I just cant get enough DPS on it to prevent the MC and death from the raid group. I am generally a bloom Roller so was thinking about going to this build:
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=0tcr0wZZxVcxcq0eot

Has any one played with this type of build before? and did it work?

I assume you mean Leotheras the blind in SSC, but nvm about that.

I haven't tried the spec you posted, but I'm class leader for druids in my guild and one of my best resto druids have that spec. He's almost always on top of healing meter and has no problems with inner demons. You shouldn't need healing touch that much in 25 mans anyway, so why use talents for it. Makes grinding/farming that much easier, so i say go for it.

TY for that I have been a tree for sooo long that a change to him is a big step lol. as for grinding I have my lock for that I just dont have the time to take a mob down every 5 mins as resto :). ill give it a try tonight going for him again should go down I just spent half the last fight seeing everything from my corpse as i tried to go cat form and take out the shadow but I am sooo not use to using him as feral that it went very wrong so going to a caster form with 2 spells for DPS should help this old fool out, just wanted to check with you guys and if any one had used it, there seems to be no mention of this type of build in the stickies.

I don't see the point going this far into balance for healing.
Can anyone throw me a clue here?
I can understand it for grinding but I prefer to use cat and do quite well with it being full resto spec except for a few points for natures grasp.
I could understand going that far if you were going for lunar guidance and moonglow.
I wouldn't give up omen of clarity either love that when it procs.

I can easily see this spec for a resto druid wanting to have some solo viability. I've been resto for a long time now so my feral gear is pathetic compared to my very awesome pvp healing set. In feral gear, I have just over 7k health. In healing gear, I have 9.5k. In feral gear, I can't heal myself very well or do damage very well either. In my healing gear, I can easily keep myself up with a single rejuv. and my spells demolish mobs.

Basically, I've tried both for grinding and it turns out my feral gear is just far too outdated to compete with the spell damage they added to my healing set.

To Jacko,

I very rarly use Healing touch if at all in an SCC raid stats are 70-80% Bloom 10% regrowth 6% rej and 2% HT (somthing like that) in actual fact I probably use HT when getting raid up on its feet after a few deaths etc.

This boss that I am on needs a lot of healing (i am norm raid heals) and thrown in for a laugh this shadow comes for me that only I can kill (he is friendly to all others in the raid) I have so many seconds to get him down or else I get MCed for the rest of the fight (10 mins). Now I can nerf my heals by putting some feral gear on (but as explained I cant play feral very well anymore) or I could bin the talents that are wasted in the resto tree and put them into to Balance tree so I have a little more DPS from spells, Without nerfing my healing. All i am dropping is the very big HT that I may do once in a raid, but I am siting at 1700+ heals so bloom and others are tickerteeboo for what I need to do in my raids.

I understand, I'm not familiar with end game content yet so it wasn't makeing sense at first.
I could see why putting some points in there for a little extra bang.
I see where you're coming from on not investing in the HT talent.

One thing, I would think that putting one point into insect swarm instead of Vengeance would be worthwhile. By all accounts IS is excellent damage/mana and could even be used in normal fights while raiding. The decreased chance for the mob to hit probably makes it better than some of the resto talents for keeping the tank alive.

for healing, in my opinion, u got 3 main possibilities:
Basic tree:
(17/0/44) - different from urs in that u dont need 10% more damage on crits, but for 5 and 10 mans, but also on 25 sometime, improved tranq is a life saver.

Pure tree:
(0/0/61) - or something like that, the talents boosting Feral can be put anywhere else actually

Dreamstate mp5-slave:
(33/0/28) - U want to have regen, here u go -.- this is mainly a HT spam build since u lack alot of bonused Hots... but it still works

I prefer the first or last, depending on ur heal role, if u hot alot, first, if u HT alot last. easy as that

Nice looking builds i will probably invest in the swarm next time i spec.

Just to let you know though had my first outing in the spec I put up the top and it went well, had no problems with the shadows but saying that neither did the 00/00/61 drood but it did mean that it went down quicker.

My healing has improved with this build aswell. nothing to do with what talents do just that I know now that HT is nerfed a bit so I have removed it from my UI apart from the macro link to an instant HT. This means that I dont miss click or try to keep a tank up on a long HT but make do with blooms rej and regrowth and use SM more. So apart from the pallies that I seem to have a major problem with keeping up on heals it is a good build.

Also we hopped over to felreaver and concentration had really gone by the wayside and time was pushing on that we lost alot of DPS through the orbs during the fight and were 5 secs from time limit when he died, and I can say that with my little increase to DPS i was hotting and DPS'ing at the end with 2.5K Crits of DPS which were very nice to see and TBH helped in making sure it was not a wipe.

Wouldn't Natural Shapeshifter be better than Control of Nature?

When you try to kill your Inner Demon...you're inside, right? I don't think you can use ER; and Cyclone would only slow down the process of killing your Inner Demon.
