T4 vs Assasination glovesFollow

#1 Feb 05 2008 at 12:41 AM Rating: Decent
Last night I was raiding kara and I was happy like a lil puppy that my T4 gloves dropped, but when I came by and traded them and could see the stats I was deeply upset by how BAD they actually are

Netherblade Gloves

These are the gloves I now have (from both sets I got 3 pieces)

Handgrips of Assassination

An none heroic easy drop.

My point, you would recon they would make T4 gear atleast a LITTLE bit better and would have some AGI in it... and considering we need our precious hit rating I have not anything better so far

Does anyone know a better set of gloves to get?

the T4 glove are an ever so slight upgrade, you loose 2 AP but gain some crit and +10Stam. you may feel this is abit of a con, but wait until you get your second T4 to judge. the 2 peice set bonus is amazing and will make you life just that little bit better

Grips of Deftness are a trash drop that i got the first time in Kara and am still using though we've got it on farm and are clearing Gruul's. better than t4. am going to replace them with the Tricksters gloves that can be bought for badges.

for gear questions the best resource is the dps spreadsheet that you can get through the forum at elitistjerks.com. will download your build and gear from the armory and makes it easy to compare gear or get a list of potential upgrades.

Like pythonsec said, the T4 gloves are a small upgrade... but the real strenght of T4 are the insane set bonus. When you get your T4 helm, you'll know.

Yes the gloves were the latest drop and I know all the gloves you speak of and compared to the assasination gloves they all blow imo

Isnt there a decent set of epic gloves out there which doesnt require +25 man raids lol :P

In that case, when you get a 4th piece of Netherblade, it will be like having a 2nd Relentless Strikes talent.

It's an upgrade, and the set bonus is icing on the cake.

And aren't there a nice set of gloves available from badges?

I'd take the T4 over those, but only for the set bonus.

I have run into this problem also. I am still using the Helm of the Claw for my pve gear, simply because Prince refuses to drop my helm. It still has better DPS than the Maulgar helm and Netherspite Helm, although only slightly.

Drape of dark reavers wont drop either, so i still use delicate green poncho. Saving up badges for Dory's Embrace, so PvE items have been taking a backseat lately.
