Hey all, I have a 70 frost mage with about 9k hp/mana and about 730 spl dmg. I have been looking into farming prebc high lvl enchanting mats, mostly brilliant shards, and I was wondering where everyone does it and how easy/hard is it? I was thinking about trying strat. but I dont know much about it and how it goes for aoe farming with frost mage, or if there is a better place for it. Thanks in advance,

I don't AoE but I do farm Strat for shards. There are 2 bosses in Strat that you can reach and farm with a need to kill only 2 individual mobs along the way(and the occasional trapped crate).
Look up a map with Hearthsinger Forresten and The Unforgiven. They're quite easy to reach. Technically, you don't even have to kill the two ghoul pats, but it makes it a lot safer to down The Unforgiven. Takes me about 20-25 minutes of farming to kill each of them 5 times. Then I use Invis to get to Baroness Anastari, who is easy to kill as well(don't have any non-combat pets out, and don't summon the elemental. She will MC you and bug out). From there, I usually just teleport out. However, I'm willing to bet if you kill 2-3 more mobs, you could invis your way over to Malechi the Pallid. He's certainly soloable too.
Is there something that you have to do to get The Unforgiven or Hearthsinger Forresten to spawn, because when I go in there, I do not see them where they are located on the maps. I know that the location varies but I cant find them in the area at all. Do I have to kill something or talk to someone to make it spawn? Anyway, thanks

The Unforgiven is always there, but doesn't actually spawn until you walk into that alleyway where he his. Forresten you just have to look for him as he has 4 spawn locations(you'll run into The Unforgiven trying to get to two of them). /target for Hearthsinger.
