A while back I said I'd never respec again and, well, recent experiences are changing my mind. Shadowstep was fun and all, but then I dung 70 and CS is 3 times more useful than ambush. Thing is I want a non-combat build that will give me decent PvP and PvE viability.

Weapons dont matter at all, I'll just grind up the S1 weapons if I need to and daggers wont cut it.

I was thinking about 30/0/31 with CP generation for easier 1s/5r cycles, CB for evisc, and Prep for PvP. I was also lookin at 0/31/30 classic hemo with AR and BF for nice damage, prep for pvp, and Deadliness.

I'm leaning toward some type of hybrid. I had an Idea for a 30/31/0 with CB, SF, relentless, weapon spec, BF, and AR, but I'm not sure about it's pvp viability.

Any thaughts or suggestions would be much appreciated.

EDIT: forgot to say I'm currently Shadowstep daggers, maybe moving away from daggers would work...?

I love it when people dung.

I like respeccing, I like it alot! Currently I am ShS Daggers and I can tell you nothing is more satasfing (sp?) than one-shotting a clothie who is sitting down. My highest Ambush crit so far is 6k something, both of us had Bezerker, I had trinket + ShS and he was sitting, plus I was buffed half way to hell ;p

CS IS more useful at level 70, but I must say ShS daggers is one of the funnest specs I have ever played on this rogue.

If you want a PvP and PvE viable build, Muti is the only way to go without Combat Swords factoring in somewhere.

Since when did clothies only have 6k HP? I haven't been able to one shot a full hp similar level clothie since pre-BC.

OK, how is mutilate in 5-mans? My guild is going to start some serious 5-mans in a few weeks, but I want to be able to go into EOTS at the end of the day and show some clothies what pain is. I've been mutilate before, but that was 1 on 1 PvE.

Mutilate does fine in 5 mans, it does fine in everything, just never great any particular aspect.

Hemo is another possibility if you don't want daggers.

Yea, I'm thinking real hard about hemo.

What do you guys have to say about an SF/AR build like...

Fist spec seemed to be the most logical to go with SF. I know you dont get SA or Combat Potency. Weapon spec is optional though. Seams real good for a nice burst. Any thaughts?

A wiseguy once told me that SF/AR is a crit heavy build. Effective in pve and against scrubs, not so good against resilience. You should spec into fists to maximize your critty crit.

Also, don't believe anything Eon says FTW.

Yea, how much crit would suffice for a build like that? 25-30%?

Also, how would mace spec be for it? A nice stun every now and then.

Something like that yeah, at least it was for when I was Mutilate.

I believe he said the clothie was sitting at the time. Probably he was not full on health but eating to get it back.
