Kill Command threat?Follow

When I use Kill Command, where does the threat go, to me or my pet?

I just got this ability a couple days ago, and I'm absolutely loving it. From what I've seen, KC's threat goes onto my pet, but I'm not sure. All I know is my cat seems to be holding aggro a lot better. Before KC, if I got a crit before my pet had enough time to build enough agro, the baddie would make a bee-line for my throat. Now, I crit, my spammable SS macro makes sure KC goes off within the next couple seconds, and the baddie doesn't go anywhere. However, I'd like to be sure, and I've been unable to dig up any theorycraft or stats about this.

Any help?

I;m pretty sure it goes to the pet, like 90% sure.

You give the command but your pet does the damage, so the threat is given to your pet, not you. It's exactly like having Growl on manual and activating it on your own, you click it, your pet does it and he gets the threat.

That's about what I figure, but I wasn't sure. My cat may do the actual damage, but I'm paying mana for her to do it, and it triggers off my crit.

Thanks for the responses. :D

At first glance it seems like the pet gets 100% of the threat but after using it to one shot some low lvl mobs it seems as though the pet gets 99% of the threat, even when I don't fire any shots, I still end up with a very small amount of threat (although I still don't get looting rights).

It may be that the KC counts as a buff and buffing a mobs target causes a small amount of threat.

To the pet, I have it and also a threat meter and during normal fight my cat will be in the upper 2,000 range pop KC and she spikes to over 5,000.

I can definitely confirm that most, if not all, of the threat from Kill Command goes to my pet.

I was just killing ogres in Nagrand, and twice when my shot crit'ed the mob switched targets to me for a second. Then, when KC actually went off, the mob immediately went back to my pet. Not to mention (but I will anyway) that the combat log shows, "<Pet>'s Kill Command does X damage to <Mob>." It's apparently kind of like Intimidate; I may be paying mana for the effect, but it's the pet who actually does it.

The only time I've managed to pull aggro off my pet now is if I have Mend Pet going and get a couple crits within KC's cooldown (or stupidly open with an Aimed Shot crit, of course).

All the threat from the damage caused by a Kill Command is transferred to the pet. It's even parsed as your pet's damage in your combat log, and thus in your damage meters.

I'm 100% sure.

Yes, kill command causes the pet to get the threat. I've had a mob turn from my pet and come at me just when I press the kill command button. The mob turned back to my pet.
