Hello fellow Mages.
After a few weeks Richarding around with alts I dust off my mage and try PvE again.
I wondering if anyone had some gear advice for a mage before starting Kara.
I wont link my armory in fear of the lulz but my gear is made up of primarily S1 >.> Any advice would be helpfull and thnks in advance.
Oh 10/48/3 spec atm, read that an arcane spec might help make up for my gear.

600 - 700 spl damage
75 - 100 spl hit
15 - 20 spl crit
With those stats you should be fine for the early parts of Kara, as you get some drops then you will be ready for the later parts.

I just ditched my last green and finally crafted my Spellfire belt so my gear isn't *that* bad. Going to get the S1 helm first thing tomorrow and plan on adding a +8spell hit gem to my belt.

lol, what's with the +spellcrit mana/5 gem in the belt?
I would definitely go with spellhit. You could also go into Netherstorm and kill a giant blob thing (72 elite) to get this trinket: http://thottbot.com/i30340
that is until you can hit revered with scryer and get the bloodgem trinket.

Yea pretty much socketed whatever I had at the moment.
I'll probably get more +hit gems tomorrow after dailys. Also thanks for the tip about the "blob thing". I'll have to look into that :)
