Proper gems and enchants...?Follow

Theres me woo. I'm coming here because as of now I'm the only hunter in my guild, and I have no hunter friends to tell me these things...lol

I plan to replace the boots and belt with the Mail pieces that drop off of Illhoof and Chess Event, because my mana is so low and my MP5 sucks.

As for a 2h, people are trying to tell me to dual wield, but well, I really dont wanna x_x F'n Trollbane dropped off the timed event in ZA the one night I wasn't able to raid! GRRRR =(

Also note I'm extremely poor right now and can only afford uncommon quality gems until I farm all the money off (Living Ruby's go for about 60g a pop on my server, same with Nightseye. I'm talking the original gem, not the cut)

Here's my questions...

The thread about gems/sockets tells me about 3 different conclusions. My tooltip DPS is about ~370, so according to the thread I should be putting in +crit gems?

Gloves and 2h...+Agi instead of plus AP?

The light was very recently shed on me about this whole changing gems at a certain DPS thing, so I'm rather confused right now ans can use some advice x_x

I dont have an arena team, and I've never done arena before...getting 1000 points with no rating would take like a month -.-

So I should keep the agi gems, and not switch to crit?

Then make one, it's easily the easiest way to get a weapon.
I'll bet ya, it's a better weapon then you can get from raiding in a month :)

It would take about a month, sure. But that would be a total time invested of about 30 minutes per week for a month. Much, much less time than you'll spend raiding ZA and hoping for Trollbane to drop again and for you to win it. And if Trollbane does drop for you you can run the Arena for a bit longer and pick up the S3 Helm.

Participating in the Arena is very worthwhile from a time invested to reward ratio perspective.
