At around lvl 40, how much DPS should i be hitting for?Follow

I'm asking this, because I'm a level 37 affliction warlock on the Underbog server, and using the DinkyDPS addon, It's reading out that I'm hitting for anywhere from 55-80 dps, depending on how conservative I am with mana. This includes 4 DoT's (Curse of Agony, Corruption, Immolate, Siphon Life), and [most of the time] using life drain to finish him off. Im hitting 80 dps only when spamming shadow bolts, which usually causes a lot of aggro, and is very mana inefficient.

So anyways, is 55-80 dps good for someone at my level?

And another thing, I'm stuck around 130 in first aid. I am having a hard time finding wool to up my level, yet I have a very high abundance of silk, which i can use to make bandages starting at 150. Any advice for this predicament?

Wool is a pita, mobs just dont seem to drop it like they do cloth or silk. Thats why it sells for so much more. If you dont want to grind it, youll just have to go and buy it.

Your dps seems about right. I didnt use a dps meter with my lock, but my alt druid did about 80-100 dps in the low 40s.

you shouldn't really care about your dps until level 70. prior to then it's all about just surviving and leveling
