Well as the title says I'm trying to get ready and geared for kara. The guild I'm in currently needs a off tank and later on another main tank for a second or third Kara group. Currently the only three tanks in the guild that I know of are a Prot Warrior and a Prot paladin (The paladin being the former guild leader of a guild that was hijacked and everyone was booted from it)
I've been prot since I started my paladin. I tried holy for a bit and the thrill of casting two (Or three) Healing spells over and over never caught on.
So far my stats for tanking are
Defense: 516 (Decreases chance to be hit and critically hit by 6.64%)
Dodge : 19.41%
Parry: 16.77%
Block: 20.14%
Thats all unbuffed. Currently I'm working on getting the belt from the quest "How to Break Into the Arcatraz" And I'm also trying to get into some heroics for the Libram. Is there really anything else I need before I can Off tank or even main tank kara?
I have a few green like my wrists which I ended up buying after I couldn't find any better tanking item (the enchant was already on them and I keep forgetting to replace it)
And don't ask about the level 1 jewel crafting. I really can't explain that. :x

if your gonna OT then get another few pieces with heavier +spell. because the mobs wont be hittin you initially, you wont build threat as fast as the MT. FWIW, the last 3 wks of Kara we ran with 1 tank. as needed, i would throw up RF and be sure to stay 2nd on the list. sure i'd get crushed and critted, but thats what pots and stones are for.
