I hit 70 about 2 weeks ago. I saw here that I should just get all the leftover quests done for gold, only 1.5k to go for my epic flyer. I also started to arena a bit, found a decent priest partner for 2s, just hit 1600 after making a new team (healer wasn't so hot on my first team). Tonight, I finally got into a pug Kara group. Even though the leader flat out refused at first, I pressed and linked my sexy S1 goosed up weapons so they let me in. After getting gear recommended on the forums, making sure my stats were up, turns out everything I've learned about cycles, hit, etc.... all true. 2nd on damage meters (19.4% compared to 20.8%)through Opera. Person who beat me was a 4/5 T5 mage.
In short, you guys are the ****.

I dinged 70 two days ago. My guild has 15 70's, and their first Kara clear was a week ago. We haven't made any noise, other than to be involved in 80 man SW raids that wipe in the throne room.
