Disc/Holy Priest?Follow

Hey everyone,
As you can tell I'm a new member to the forums, but I have been reading for quite some time. Anyway, I have been playing my Shadow Priest at 70 for quite a while now (BG's, heroics, kara, etc.) and I'm not really that happy with him anymore. I enjoyed it for a while but I'm looking for something new. I saw a lot of Disc/Holy Priests doing Arena as well as BG, and was wondering how viable they really were. Can they compete well with other healing classes (Druid, Pally) in terms of effectivness in PvP? What should I try? Any opinions/thoughts are greatly appreciated!
