I r thinking that with agility enhancements (monkey + enchantments + weapons) that a retrobution paly could in deal some serious damage, especially if their crit rate is 20-30% of the time? Right?

For the most damage you need to focus on crit rate and strength. Only get agility if it happens to be on a piece you need/want but I wouldn't actively stack it. Read this it will answer a lot of your questions.
