Well, I have finally gone and re-equipped and renewed my interest in the Warrior class. I have had this particular character quite some time, but chose to pretty much abandon him after he hit 70.
I have been working diligently towards making him an actual "tank"; 490 defense,etc. His gear is abysmal, but my question in the title is whether he is ready for level 70 instances, and perhaps Heroics after a bit more gearing.
The character in questions name is Ulster, Frostwolf realm, Alliance side. I am disabled at linking his armory, so please forgive that. If any of the experts would be so kind as to take a glance at him, and provide any and all advice, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

Semi ready. I might want to look into getting a new shield and a MH. Grom'tors charge form a chainquest in SMV would do the tricks, and a shield that drops off Ambassador Hellmaw in SL, and you would be ready.

Your gear is about what I started with for heroics. Just stick to the easy ones (Mech, SP, SV) and you'll earn enough badges quickly to buy the Azureshield of Coldara or whatever.
Looks like a good solid start to me. I agree about the shield needing an upgrade soon but the weapon is decent for non-heroics with good tanking stats. I would look into getting the bracers that come from that Shadow Labs quest - Sha'tari Wrought Armguards. I would also try to get the quest chain for the Arcatraz key done up to the point where you can get that great tanking waist reward - Sha'tari Vindicator's Waistguard.
I'd say you were ready to hit the top level normal instances and once you pick up a few upgrades from those you can venture into some of the easier heroics.
