Well I have seen a few threads on what spell rotation should be used in cat form but I just have a couple of questions. Is it better to start with pounce, then FFF then a shred and so on ... OR is it better to start with ravage ? If not, when should I even use ravage. Also is it necessary that I should use FFF after pounce because I could use 2 shreds which do much more damage or is it better this way? Thanks in advance to all who help.
Usually, pounce, FFF, mangle (if mangle is up, shred does more damage) and then shred. If OOC proc, another shred. If you are not a keyboarder turner and the server isn't lagging, there is plenty of time to do so.
IMHO, ravage is only useful when you are in a group and the mob is almost dead, so pounce wouldn't make a difference. Even with mobs that don't bleed, it's more interesting to use pounce just so you can use shred.

emm kitty form. mangle has no cooldown nor shred. only thing with cooldown should be fairy fire.
basicaly it depends on how fast the thing I'm jumping on will die
if it's dead under 10-12 seconds I'll start with ravage,fairy fire, mangle (if you're 70 and have the mangle idol if not it's shred and spam mangle or fero bite if it gets 4 or more
if it's dead after 12-15 seconds I'll start with pounce, fairy fire, mangle, shred, and either mangle him unil I can get fero bite +4 or he dies.
if more than that,
pounce, fairy fire, mangle, shred, rake, maim.
shred, mangle, rake, maim, and repeat line 2 until you use fero bite to kill him off. assuming not immune to bleed or daze.

Rake? Really? I don't even have it on my bar. It's a waste of energy. You would be better using mangle again. Or instead of "rake, maim, shred", "mangle, rip, bear form, bash, cat form, shred". Way better.

Sorry but how do i get to use shred if the pounce stun has ended? Or did you mean if its still continuing you should use another shred?
To get shred in either:
a) Ooc proc, or
b) you arent the one tanking

When it's still up and OOC procced (giving you a free-energy skill to use).
