I was just wondering,

Me and partner are both BM hunters and we seem to have capped our rating at 1600. Is this the highest we can expect to go in 2v2 as a hunter/hunter team? or is it possible to go higher.

Right now we win every match unless they have a holy pally or very good healing shaman.

i believe yes... i did a search on top arenas team,and most of them are war+palla and war+druid....It is very hard to win these compinations because palla use the cheat-bumble and druids use the run and hide methods..so the "win button" is useless...if you stay in a place and lay a trap to cc the war...the healer goes and hide in a pillar...so you must move on..and traps is useless..with shamies is easiest cause he dont run.he just stay in his totems..so you can stay in a place lat 2 traps to cc the dps and try to take the shamie down..Again tank and heal is everything in WoW

I'm sure you already know this, but 2 Hunters is not the "optimal" team. You will eventually reach the limit of your gear and skill, and that is where the team makeup will come into play.

I'd suggest figuring out a strategy on how to beat all of the popular builds this season. For instance, record all of your fights verses Druid/Warrior. Figure out what went well, what went wrong. If you need to, make an alt on their server and talk to them after the game. Ask them what made life difficult for them.

Granted your strategy isn't gonna work 100% of the time, but every little bit helps.
