Shadow Priest and Mage need Arena helpFollow

I've recently started a 2v2 arena team with my girlfriend. I'm guessing a SP and Mage isn't the optimal combination, but is there any strategy or posts about this out there?

I have a good knowledge of the priest class, but not much about mages. I assume our best bet is to have the mage sheep one target and then burn the other. And also have me use pyschic scream and silence when they are up. What class should we be killing first?

Any ideas/input is greatly appreciated. So far we're 1-4. The mage doesn't have much pvp gear and I've only got 200 resilience.

How could mind control work in an arena setting? In 99% of my fights I'm getting hit non-stop. Woudln't that break it right away..maybe I missing the point though! :)

The problem is going to be getting off a 3-second cast while being pounded on. You'd be better off kiting people and keeping yourself alive while your girlfriend kills one of them.

As a priest, you're going to be taking all the hits all the time, pretty much. Your goal is to get 10k health, then 400 resilience, then 950+ dmg.

You always kill the squishiest one first, and if you're not sure, kill the one that can't kite you first. If there's a healer + DPS, the healer is always going to be the squishier of the two unless you can actually keep the healer feared/polied/silenced the entire time. Always assume the first sheep will break, but never refresh it early. Don't be afraid to mana burn, it makes guys like hunters completely uselss.
