About how much mp5 should a resto druid have?

As it is right now I'm at 260/110. I can keep a three stack of lifebloom up forever with the occational rejuv and my mana only starts going down when I heal multiple targets or have to start throwing regrowths. This mainly happens in BG's but I digress.

As far as I know +healing is the number one stat to focus on, base without any buffs is 1222. Raid buffed I'm at 9.5k mana and little over 8k health.

So back to my question, do I needs to start looking into more spirit/mp5 or am I on the right track just stacking up my +healing more?

You are on the right track as far as being able to start raiding in Kara. Eventually you will want your mp5 to be greater as you will be doing more than just stacking lifebloom and regrowth. By the time this comes in to play though you should have geared up through any raiding that you have done.

As a healer having more mana than what you know to do with is a good thing. Just don't skimp on the +healing. If you don't have them yet there are enchants for your chest and boots that will give added mp5.

Based on the fact that the Druid in the OP's sig is wearing 2 pieces of tier 4, the ring off Prince and a trinket off Illhoof, I'm gonna assume the OP has already started Kara. <_<

Although I'm not Resto myself, I've done a spot of off-healing in Kara before (I was floating group heals up through Moroes once, and more than a few times have I sat there spamming Regrowth and HT trying to help the healers through damage spikes). What magic said is true; Rejuv and Lifebloom will help, but you'll need to do a bit more than that to get the job done. Picking up a couple MP5 gems might not hurt (I noticed your leg piece has a +2 MP5 socket bonus; you could try sticking Royal Nightseyes into those two blue sockets (you'd lose a little +healing but gain a bunch of MP5)), or you could probably run Mechanar a few times and get the Moonglade Pants.

I'll assume you're using Innervate when you run low on mana, and remind you that there's +15 Spirit or +6 MP5 for your chest (I dunno off-hand how much MP5 you'd gain from +15 Spirit, but as I understand it that'll enhance Innervate's effectiveness while +6 MP5 won't).
