Beware HuntersFollow

Beware hunters, after taming that trash pet to learn a skill to teach your real pet you might find the skill missing after stabling or dismissing. GM response was classic,"We are aware of the issue please read about it on the bug forums". Oh well thanks much for that advice when what I had asked was "So do I try again on another pet? Give up for now? Wait for Elune's light to shine ?" Pretty much told nothing helpful after opening a ticket other than go read about other people having same problem.
After asking since I had tamed twice and learned the skill twice couldnt they simply restore the skill to my list of trainable skills? Oh no, of course not too much to ask and was told to go read the article regarding GMs.

So maybe I missed something but Ive known folks that had gold and/or gear restored that went missing,so I guess a learned ability isnt the same?

Anyways, heads up hunters.

Just tamed 3rd kraul bat, had skill on pet bar ...chat window message I had learned a new skill Dive 1 and it was in the pet training window of skills listed.

I hearth out of RFK and poof gone off pet bar and out of skill lists.

All I wanted was a GM to say "wait until 30 and you can get it" Not "oh its a known issue please go read about it on the bugs forum"

Tamed a carrion bird in Arathi Highlands and learned Dive 1 with no problem at all. So the GM that was totally useless could have simply said,"It wasn't intended that players get that skill before level 30", instead of telling me nothing except there was a "bug". After further reading on the boards apparently before they removed some elites and changed mob levels, you could indeed learn Dive 1 from kraul bats. After the changes they still show as having that skill and its possible to see you have learned it after taming one while inside the instance.

Anyways,expected a GM to be more capable of giving correct,helpful knowledge instead of telling me to read two old posts on a bugs forum that didnt answer my question.
