Hey all. Last week (I think Friday) I posted that I would be starting a Druid now that I have left Alliance after 2 long years. Just to let you guys know, at only lvl 20, Im in love!

Druids rule!

I had to kill some elite mob, level 21. She had 4 level 19's around her. I slipped into Cat Form and took one out in seconds, then into bear form. Managed to take 2 more out, leaving 1 mob & 1 elite. Stomp, Healed up / Renew and then finished them both off. Finished with 70% Health and Full Mana.

Why didn't I go Druid from the Start!

Yeah CrazyJelly, I had the same epiphany.

I rolled a rogue 1st, then a Hunter, and then my Dr00d.

The druid became my "main" at lvl 32 or so (rogue was 60 and hunter was 49), so I know what you mean.

Grats on the baby druid (adolescent now?) and keep the updates coming!

If you are in love now, wait for when you have Pounce and Mangle. Then you will see what is love. ;)

Pounce and mangle just give a warm tingling feeling, that you may mistake as beeing love. When you get flight form however, THEN you'll know what love is ^^

Grats on hitting level 20. It's a milestone, definitely. Cat form just makes life so much easier. The next real milestone will be level 50 when you get Mangle. And after that, level 68 and Flight form.

Whenever I doubt if the Druid class is the one and only for me, I just log on my Druid and zoom off the elevator at Aldor's Rise. Moments before hitting the ground I switch into Flight form and soar away in the wind.

So awesome.

Agreed,
I think my biggest milestone was lvl 40-44 when you get Barkskin, Hurricane and Innervate. Nothing like popping out of Cat/Bear at 1/4 health, throwing on a Barkskin (reduces damage by 20% and prevents spell interuption)pop off a Regeneration and Rejuvination and even a healing touch if need be to get you back up to 100%. This usually is the time when my mana is getting low, but then I will bear form and if I get low on health again I use Frenzied Regeneration which usually will put me right back up to max health again. Add engineering with an Attack Chicken and there is no one that can stop you!

Mu ah ah ah, Druids are awesome!

Or.. wait to you are tank geared at level 70 and you go into a battleground and have 4 enemies on you at once trying to kill you and you defeat them all.

That is love!

Personally, I kind of liked the 800+ ravage crits I was getting when I was level 38 or so in crap gear (I'm wearing all quest gear cause I'm not paying 10+ gold for a non-Outlands green).

Now, granted, I would normally be using ravage, but I was fighting those skeletons in Desolace, and they're bleed immune. Besides, after the ravage, they were mostly dead anyway :)

You mean pounce? ;)

I had my druid epiphany when my friend visited my house and showed me his character. He was about level 30'ish, and was questing in Arathi Highlands. (He was on a different realm before on a hunter character, and I finally got him to my realm. He started a druid, and I sometimes played my alt druid who was lvl 8 and gathering dust since she kinda sucked lol.) Those first 20 levels are hard, but I didn't know if it got better afterwards, and how long afterwards. So I wanted to test out his druid. I was testing out the forms and... I started to love it. I was like "Man, this is insane, no downtime, faster-paced action and RIP! Claw! Rake! /screams like a maniac"

I love the feral charge, and I started to take on several mobs on his druid in bear form. I was amazed, especially at how his mana regenerated while attacking in forms so that way he wouldn't have any downtime. I thought to myself, "Man, I really have to level my druid... this is insane! Being several classes at once rocks!"

Sooo... yea, I leveled her and now we're in our mid-60s. Mangle = teh roxorz. I love this class! First started with a huntard, then a shaman, and now this uber leet class. All I can say is woooooooooooooooot

Nope, I mean ravage. Pounce is the one that stuns and adds a bleed. Ravage is the one that does 385% damage + X (X varies with the level of ravage.) Like I said, I'd normally be using pounce, but I figured ravage was better for bleed immunes.

Actually even on bleed imunes pounce is often better. If you have the reduced cost of shred talent you can pounce -> mangle -> shred (and another if OOC procs). Ofc if you almost kill the critter with just one ravage i would go tigers fury -> ravage -> /dance -> /rofl -> finish the mob off
