It's late here and I am mindlessly farming furbolgs for agility enchant formulas when this thought crossed my mind as I thought about some of the posts on the pallie forums.
What if raid bosses WERE vulnerable to vindication? Would that justify a raid spot?
(I'm prot main, respecced to ret to farm because prot was just way too slow for these things that are spread out and damn near impossible to gather up in the huge groups I want.)

I doubt the decrease would impact the damage the tanks take very much.
What about the -15% to it's stam though? That's what I was really thinking of.

Indeed it would, but I am asking what if it did work? Would that make ret a required thing in every raid? Imagine that, right at the beginning: -15% of the boss health gone just like that.

I'd say it would make them required. Again though, that'd just be ridiculous.
Edit: Actually, vindication is low enough that you could just get a protadin to spec it. Would probably be the better solution.

Yea, if that were the case I'd lose PoJ for Vindication in a heartbeat. That wouldn't make Ret a required class for raids at all.
Yeah just sink it in deep enough so that prot or even holy were unable to get it would be the easy fix. I dont think it would sit right in the greater community though, let alone here. I am not Ret spec but I dont think I would like this to be the reason for being taken to a raid. I think "dps form" is the way to go kinda like shadow priests. Make it the level 80 talent ftw
